Spider-Man On the far side trailer teases Ben Reilly versus Miles Morales
Update: Ben Reilly is taking on the Mickey Charles Mantle of Spider-Man regular in the upcoming 'Wanderer-Man On the far side' ERA launching in Amazing Spider-Isle of Man #75. And today a rising trailer for the story shows Reilly fighting Miles Morales - indicating that a clash between Spider-Men is on the horizon.
Kicking off with a commercial advertising Spider-Man's new partnership with the Beyond Corporation, the trailer depicts two versions of Spider-Man, presumably Ben Reilly and Simon Peter Parker, embarking on an adventure together - with only Ben Reilly qualification it out unimpaired.
Then, it offers a brief glimpse of Reilly clashing with Miles Morales in his new costume, which interestingly resembles the costume worn by Ben Reilly's feller Wanderer-clone Kaine.
Marvel is as wel previewing pages from Amazing Wanderer-Man #75 (check them out in our gallery below), highlighting that at least at the beginning of the storyline, 2 Spider-Men, Ben and Peter, seemingly co-exist.
Exactly what happens to Peter, remains to be seen.

It's official: Ben Reilly, the clone of St. Peter the Apostl Parker WHO took up the mantle of Spider-Man during the '90s 'Dead ringer Saga' story, will return in October as the new star of Amazing Spider-Man, once again taking up the role in Peter Parker's (not yet fully explained) absence.
As previously titillated, Reilly will turn the new starring Spider-Homo in the wall-fishing worm's official title when the new creative team up takes over following Nick Spencer's exit - and what's more, Ben Reilly Crataegus oxycantha get the chance to be Spidey over again thanks to the death of Peter Dorothy Rothschild Parker.
While that last number remains unofficial, Wonder's announcement of the new Amazing Wanderer-Valet direction and creative team certainly heavily hints that's what's connected the horizon for the finale of Spencer's run on the title.
"A bold unaccustomed age of Amazing Spider-Man is along the horizon! Start in October, Amazing Spider-Military man will return with a story so bombastic that it will pick out the superlative team of web-writers and arachnid-artists ever assembled to tell it," reads Marvel's official proclamation. "Kelly Thompson, Saladin Ahmed, Cody Ziglar, Patrick Gleason, and Zeb H. G. Wells will team au courant the thrice-monthly title to shake up the Spider-Humankind mythos in ways no one will see coming."

Writer Zeb Wells, who contributed to the 'Brand New Day' era mastermind trust himself, will spearhead the new story, with fellow writers Kelly Homer Thompson, Salah-ad-Din Yusuf ibn-Ayyub Ahmed, Cody Ziglar, and Patrick Gleason all Chosen specifically for their one-on-one styles and sensibilities in relation to the story Wells has envisioned.
"The whole point of working on Spider-Man is trying to put new unliftable weights on height of him—physical, metaphysical, excited, science—and seeing if atomic number 2 arse lift them. But what if that weight truly is too weighty? What if someone with the exact same skills and formative years could set better?" states Spider-Man group editor Nick Lowe in the announcement.
"Ben Reilly is endorse and, with Aunt May and Uncle Ben's lessons in the back of his mind as well, he's here to interfere where Peter Parker failed," Lowe continues. "Can he accomplish things the original Spider-Man never could? These questions are what sold me connected this story."
The idea of Peter failing - mayhap in a way that could prove fatal - is a devastating thought, especially paired with the idea that his soul may be in the sights of Mephisto thanks to the deal Peter and MJ made with the devilish scoundrel, as hinted in current issues of Spencer's Amazing Wanderer-Man run.
"When Zeb Wells started building this story it became apparent that information technology required a narrative velocity and a team of the best of the best to make it happen. So we gathered some of the greatest writers and artists in comics to join the States and the story got even finer and bigger and more amazing," Lowe states.

"Cody Ziglar is a new name in comics, just the play he did for the upcoming Disney Plus She-Hulk record and Wrench and Morty showed United States of America at Marvel that helium is part of the next generation of Wonder superstar writers and he has not disappointed present."
Marvel has not yet titled any artists that will join the new, dilated writing team.
